Is Christmas really all about gifts? Or is it about "the gift"? Historically Christmas was to celebrate the birth of Christ. But have we made it something else in our materialistic culture? Considering that billions and billions of pounds will be spent on christmas gifts yet much less on helping others who are without food and clothing, it is a good indicator that we have lost the real meaning of the holiday.
